Frustration can be the greatest fuel to push past daily roadblocks that arise when starting a business. I am extremely frustrated, so instead of throwing in the towel and giving up I am pushing harder than I ever have before. I have been very vocal about my financial issues and they haven’t seemed to cease even with all of my positive thoughts and optimism. I know things will get better soon and I have to be patient but in the same breath I need to be able to support myself in the most basic way possible.

Investing in your dream

So after much debate and hesitation I have taken on a part-time job in addition to a full-time job and starting my own business. I know it will be far from easy but I am looking at the bigger picture. Working these extra hours will set me up to pay down some debt and invest more money into my company. A true business owner knows you have to spend money to make money. So in order to push forward with my blogs, websites, trademarking, business cards, the list goes on, I need more capital.  It is about time to turn all my passions into profit. But before that happens I need a solid financial foundation, and organized work flow. It is a lot to take on but right now for me a necessary step to move forward. Time management is imperative for me these days and I spent my weekend preparing my schedule for my new routine and planning ahead on all my projects. I am willing to sacrifice some sleep to be able to see my vision come to life.
